The show is well researched and presented .. it’s a little on the dark side for me.. the tool box killer transcript, when read out, still haunts me. When these guys say discretion is advised… take the advice … I wish I’d never heard the things that happened to that poor girl in the murder Mac.

Love JD Horror and his delivery. Love that he listens to punk rock!

What an awesome podcast! Witty, dark, and well-researched. This is a true crime must and eerily calm and satisfying. I binged three in a row and went back for four. The production value of these episodes really sets it apart from the average true crime pods. I’m a big fan and you will be too!

I listen to this at work and it’s not the quietest of environments. Even at full blast I can barely hear the narrator. Could you turn the mic up a little. If people find it too loud they can turn it down. If am at full blast struggling to hear there is nothing more I can do

I just started from the beginning. Hit the Poison Ivy Halloween episode and was like “please no...not this story AGAIN.” Boudet just did it in 2021 and it was just like the Dateline episode. Well...I listened and wow there was much more info and case details than I ever heard before. GREAT JOB....Read full review »

Great podcast but man is this one rough. Host leaves no horrific detail out of the recounting of these heinous crimes. Make sure you have a strong stomach to be able to make it through these episodes.

Podcast would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the exaggeration when he pronounces certain things for dramatic effect. Also there are glitch issues where while playing it goes back a couple of min and repeats something on a couple episodes. Besides that great content and a good podcast.

Well done JD on a great show. Very good for people who enjoy their podcasts presented like an audiobook.

Great podcast, deserve its name as it usually packs a punch or horror, with details and a dose of heavy metal- punk-rock music, and/other sound track addition to highlight the stories. The Host’s tone of voice is a mit mechanic, but you’ll love it after you are used to it. Very unique work. I...Read full review »

I really want to like this podcast because the Host seems like a really nice guy. However, there are some issues that make it difficult for me to listen to. Using true stories for a podcast always walks the line of exploiting the tragedies of these people's lives for entertainment and prosperity, but many true crime podcast hosts are aware of this and try to give some dignity, at least a nod, to the real lived experience of the individuals. Very well done true crime story telling. I had to turn one of the episodes off because the details are so bothersome to hear. I never have to do this. This show does not hold back nor censor gory details. If you’re looking for no holds true crime story telling this is it.
