Description
On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz tell the disturbing story of the murders of carjacking victims Jason Burgeson and Amy Shute out of Providence, Rhode Island. The couple, who had simply been enjoying a late night out on the town, were held hostage in their own car, forced to hand over what little money they had on them, and then subsequently killed by a group of five young men who were looking to rob someone that June 2000 night. Luckily, justice was swift for the young college students, as their bodies were discovered quickly and the stolen car was traced back to the perpetrators, allowing for Jason and Amy’s family to see their killers go to jail.  --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/truecrimene/support
