I absolutely love how passionate these woman are. They tell the stories of these people with such grace. They are thoughtful and loving. Being from New England myself I find these more interesting. I share whenever possible. They do a great job and I just love them so much!

The murder of Antoinette Venditti Bruce is a case more people should know about. It happened in a small town (Middletown RI) adjacent to Newport RI. Antoinette actually LIVED in Connecticut with her husband and family however. She was a manager for Christmas Tree Shop in CT and very well liked...Read full review »

I listened to an episode that told the murder of a 15 year old and there’s no respect in the tone taken in telling the story. Saying things like “it’s like high school musical but with murder” is gross. True crime is fascinating but you make it sound like it’s a fun, entertaining tv show removing...Read full review »

The hosts are shockingly self-absorbed and immature, which bleeds into the accounts of the victims. The worst kind of true crime.

I have been listening for over 2 years and have enjoyed every episode. The hosts are wonderful and have great senses of humor. They never shy from speaking out for what is right, and their authenticity shines through in every case. Ladies, thank you for all of the hard work you've put into...Read full review »

As someone who lives in New England I love this podcast! I really enjoy their coverage of local cases and how they use humor but are at the same time compassionate about the victims. I also love their case profiles to bring attention to cases of people of color!

I love the way Katie and Liz present the information as if they are two friends chatting about the crime. Oh wait! They are two friends chatting, except they always share their resources 😊. Thank you ladies!

I’ve lived in NH my whole life. And to hear about everything that has happened in New England is insane and it keeps me on my toes! I love listening to you guys! Please please look into Diane Drake for an episode (RI). I am certain there are answers out there due to the very small (and gossipy) area where she lived/died. Not enough attention is paid to this case & the family members are getting older etc. Please cover it—I’ve only seen ONE podcast do...Read full review »

I was looking forward to a local crime podcast but could not make it through the banter between the hosts. Joking around like it’s a lighthearted story not a murder case. Disrespectful to the victims.

To the psycho who said in their 1 star review that they “come to these types of podcasts to detach and hear crime” ….. HUH??? “Detach” and “crime” in the same sentence has to be some of the most brain-dead nonsense I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading with my own two eyes. As a staunch...Read full review »

I tried to give this podcast a chance several times. I’m often skipping through the first 10 minutes of chit chatting. I’ve become more put off by their personal opinion on certain topics. It’s been very difficult to listen to it. I wish I could’ve liked this more because the cases are...Read full review »

True Crime New England is my favorite podcast - and trust me, I listen to them all! Katie and Liz really do their research, and are very well spoken. Just found this podcast, and had to listen to the Melissa Benoit episode. I went to school with the Benoits. Sadly you mispronounced their last name. Seems like that would be something you’d make sure you got right.

This podcast is just so bad. Being from NH, I tried so hard for so long to listen to these episodes but I can’t ever even make it to the actual story before I’m tired of the hosts. Katie and Liz were great, until they went on an uneducated rant about the ongoing conflict in Israel. The senseless loss of life on both sides of the Gaza-Israel barrier is heartbreaking, but by definition a “genocide” is the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular...Read full review »

The audio sucking is just the start of it. It won’t seem so bad once you realize the first 1/4 of the episodes is egocentric talk about themselves. This is a great show and so cool to hear fellow new englandas!! Although there are no northern accents…Lol. Geez…I tried but story telling is not their strong point. Especially crime. At one point they take 5 minutes to explain a man assaulting a woman in a parking lot and the one host says “That’s like, not okay.”

I gave this show a long time hoping it would get better/grow on me, especially since I’m from NH. It didn’t. I couldn’t even listen to the episode released today on 7/27. I really do like the cases discussed, most are unknown to me which I like. Well done storytellers. However I do not like the banter between them. I’ve listened to a lot of true crime podcasts, many of which mix an element of humor in to their story telling. I’m not uptight or squeamish about this usually.
