Awesome
I’m learning so much about NZ’s history from your podcast. You must put a lot of time in to research. Regarding the criticisms of your R sound or accent, not much you can do to change people’s opinions. That’s how you talk. My view is, it doesn’t bother me, I’m happy that someone is doing a NZ true crime podcast. Don’t stop please! Regarding the criticisms of some of your Maori pronunciation. I think people judge too harshly and it can create a culture where people don’t want to attempt saying Maori words for fear of being judged. Keep it up and keep trying. You will get there. Correct pronunciation can be tricky for some and that’s ok. I want people to at least give it a go. Nice work. Awesome podcast. Keep it up.

Good stories and well researched but I found the latest episode really annoying as the narrator kept saying the word for house/home crib. Does all of NZ live in some sort of gangsta neighbourhood and live in cribs, even the old people? It just sounded so wrong and I found it extremely irritating.

Good to hear some NZ content. They are trying to emulate Casefile but falls well short. The narrators pronunciation is terrible, even for common NZ words
