“I really like the podcast and love Meagan. However, I find Lola is getting more and more condescending and dogmatic. Inserting her "own" statistics after the fact during the Glenn Carter interview without giving him a chance to rebuttal was concerning. It reminded me of the behavior of a cult leader.
It also bothered me how she handled the flds ladies with kit gloves when they were Professing their devotion to a convicted child rapist.
As a fellow recovering mormon, I can tell there is a lot of bitterness around her experience, which is completely understandable. However, I would encourage her
to do some self reflection on if she is exhibiting some of the same characteristics that she condemns members of the church for, I.e being very judgmental of others with differing views and perspectives.”Read full review »
