Huge lack of sound design
I listened to this until about season 3. And it took me foreeevveeerrrrrr. I really liked lake clarity, but this doesn’t even compare. Acting is good with some people, terrible on others. Edited lines are repeated. Lack of sound editing - no noise gate on voices, I can vividly hear a/c in the background. Literally no sound design. The “rakes” or however you spell them, sound like when my niece play growls at my dog, no ambience for atmosphere, no music scores, the sounds that *do* exist, make no sense. Idk, I felt it had potential and I hoped it got better since I listen to podcasts for 10 hours a day at work. But I just can’t handle the cringe.
