As a Georgia native, I appreciate this exploration and the creativity This is a great startup podcast--before the days when podcasting was the norm. Well written with lots of believable characters. Yeah, the production value is initially low, but keep with it. It doesn't detract, but makes...Read full review »

- and it’s everything you’d want a good serialized fiction podcast to be... In fact it deserves FIVE {🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟} STARS solely by its devotion to their fans ALONE. Kept giving them more of what they wanted, to a total of five series of episodes!! And of course it helped that they had a team so...Read full review »

First off, really dig the mystery this story brings. There is always just that bit of information that is just out of reach that leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. I listened to all of season 1 and am in the middle of season 2. I can say the audio quality continues to improve as...Read full review »

You can tell the creators really love the craft! Rough audio the first season, which they address, but give it a shot as they really do work to improve it! The story is nice and creepy and it’s fun to follow along as they figure out what is happening in this town.

I am an avid audiodrama listenter. I love a great story and a good mystery. The synopsis seemed like it would be interesting and similar to other long running series I've followed. I was patient in the first few episodes whith the bad readings, lack of pacing, inflection ... etc. I have...Read full review »

I have binge listened to this podcast. That story was amazing. It started ted simply as a podcast looking in to the tunnels. As the seasons went on it developed in to something deeper and darker. The characters were well written and developed. Each one left for good reasons and new ones had good...Read full review »

I’m really glad I decided to listen to this podcast. Yes as others have said, Season One sound is all over the place but it really didn’t put me off at all. The story is what I like and the way it is told. I’m just finishing Season Two and looking forward to listening the rest!

The podcast is a great listen, granted it's obvious that the first season is their first season and low budget. However, it's a great treat and even its low budget, the cast and set did a great job. Entertaining and interesting, not only is it creepy, but a great mystery to tie it all...Read full review »

An interesting story and world about the horrors going on beneath the surface in more ways than monsters in tunnels. The audio isn't the greatest and an important character just drops off midway through the show but this podcast is clearly trying to tell a unique story and the passion shines...Read full review »

Glad this awesome podcast is back, thought you left us hanging, like so many others have. Now suddenly show up on Stitcher, probably the worst thing ever! Now I can add you to my donate list, you don’t turn on us!

Low budget but good, all things considered. It’s creative and has a fun creepy story. I hope this is the beginning of more podcasts. More music effects would be awesome!

Certainly not a polished podcast, but it shows it shows what you can do with an idea, some basic equipment and some good friends to help voice the parts. And cool to have a locally produced fiction podcast. I’ll keep listening.

I really liked the story line, but it reads much more like a low budget audiobook then a horror audio drama. I wish could read the script. The story is interesting, but most of the acting is so bad that it will make you laugh. It really hurts the storytelling. I though the acting in Lake Clarity was bad.... this is MUCH worse

I listened to this until about season 3. And it took me foreeevveeerrrrrr. I really liked lake clarity, but this doesn’t even compare. Acting is good with some people, terrible on others. I tried. I really did. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for season 1, and struggled through season two. On season three now, and honestly, this is the worst voice acting I’ve ever heard. Not terribly refined or polished. It doesn’t have great voice acting or audio quality. But I can overlook all of that because The story is pretty decent it’s obviously a work of heart. I appreciate the efforts to tell the story. I have enjoyed listening to it so far and plan to continue.
JayGeeEss via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/06/18
Such a great mystery and cast that keeps getting better with every episode. The creepiness factor grows right along with the mythology. They do a fantastic job of solving some mysteries while deepening others.
Bradwick via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/17/18
It was perfectly fine until season 2 episode 1, when the sound engineer made a bizarre decision in which the tape recordings, which hold all of the content, are ridiculously quieter than the part of the show where the guy narrates the story. If you don’t have a speaker, don’t bother.

Tunnels is a cool idea and a fun story. Yes, Robert Chauncey is a far better writer than he is a voice actor but his stilted manner of speech gets to be kind of endearing after awhile. The mystery of what lives beneath your city is a great way to start this research. Complex characters, a great protagonist that leads you through his discoveries. It’s fun to listen and as a product, season by season gets better and better!

Tunnels is SO well writen, i love the story arc, i love the tiny details, and i really like the characters. I’m glad the first thing they say is that they’re aware the acting and sound quality is bad. That acknowledgment is the only reason I gave it 3 instead of 1- it’s actually pretty bad. That said, the story is intriguing enough that I’m willing to stick it out and see what the second season brings.
