Scott, creator of ‘The Cailleach’s Herbarium’ returns to the podcast for an intriguing, informative and (at times) humourous chat with Shannon and Laura about various aspects of traditional Scottish folklore and practices. Scott discusses his article series ‘Scottish Folk Magic and the Dead’; explains what is ment by the term ‘second sight’, and provides more information on Scottish Cosmology- the Three Realms and associated animals. Shannon and Laura delve deeper into the commonly known ‘Celtic Wheel of the Year’ with Scott, who explains origins of traditional celebrations from the Scottish perspective. All of this, and somehow Laura still could not escape the smoking thatch laughter attack.
