The Gosford Glyphs (also referred to as the Kariong Hieroglyphs), are a set of around 300 rock carvings that are associated with many conflicting and intriguing stories of origin. Situated within Brisbane Waters National Park, on the New South Wales Central Coast, Australia. They are nestled deep within this intriguing landscape, heavily populated with many Indigenous sacred sites, such as The Grandmother Tree, significant landmarks and rock carvings. The Hieroglyphs have caught the attention of many locals - and international people alike. Having never visited this site before, Shannon and Laura thought it was time to put on their walking shoes, play dodge the mozzie (and snake), and get exploring! This episode explores theories that both support and debunk the purported authenticity of the hieroglyphs, and of course Shannon and Laura each weigh in and offer their own thoughts.
