Honey to the Ear
I'm a regular listener to many podcasts, and recently, the episode of "Twenty Thousand Hertz" dealing with the NBC Chimes came to my attention (thanks to the "99% Invisible" podcast). I was so impressed with it that I found and subscribed to this podcast and listened to the trailer and first three episodes immediately. I was entranced. For as many podcasts as I listen to, most of them don't deal directly with sound, as a designed experience, and this one does, in a marvelous way. Dallas Taylor is the perfect host, clearly passionate about sound and sound design, and that, combined with his excellent voice, makes "Twenty Thousand Hertz" a nice sample of honey for the ear.Read full review »
