Description
In this Episode Lance and Sande are joined by Jo Willis, a professional Coach, Mentor and the co-author of the adoption memoir, Awoken: Surviving and thriving through the Adoption Journey. Together they tackle the issues raised for them from chapter twelve of Barbara Sumner's Tree of Strangers. The main focus of the episode is on the difficult area of navigating relationships as adopted people, and the issues of trust and vulnerability that can get in the way of forming healthy relationships. As always the opinions presented on this podcast are not necessarily those of the author of Tree of Strangers, rather they are our take on her amazing book, and the issues that it raises for us as we read through it.
