“I like the science content but what was up with the weird sound effects in the “Heads Will Roll” episode? It was so distracting. I thought some other program was creating the sounds. I closed every app and eventually paused the podcast to confirm it was coming from the podcast itself. I also get so tired of the weird affectations of the main host—always overpronouncing “chicago” as a joke in multiple episodes, always being so loud and sometimes talking over others, the insecurity about being a third wheel, and so on. Just talk at a normal volume and say “Chicago” normally or if that’s impossible, stop inviting people from Chicago.”
