I’m getting a bit fed up with all the audio effects added to the podcast. Weird pings at random times. It might just be my neurodivergent brain but I saw at least one other comment about this.

Great content! I look forward to each episode

Used to love the pod, but new info has come to my attention and I can’t support it anymore due to apparent hubris and hypocrisy. It’s sad because I’m sure much of the content is still valid, but “Unbiased” it definitely is not 😢

As per your previous reviews, the sound quality was a bit variable and not the best at times but sound quality is not why I chose to listen to the podcast so it doesn’t have any relevance for my review. I think you both do a wonderful job of presenting the evidence and data in an approachable...Read full review »

I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast and appreciate the range of topics and experts! But you gotta knock off the background audio on the current episodes. It’s super distracting and unsettling.

I find this podcast to be so interesting! When the recent co-host left the show, I wasn’t sure how the podcast would continue, but I found it to be even better (so, great job Dr. Steier!). She brings on so many informative guests and the way she unpacks topics always leaves me learning something...Read full review »

Awesome podcast! Very knowledgeable and in words anyone can understand! Relevant and important topics. I appreciate the candor. As a healthcare worker, I find it courageous and critical to shed light on some of these more controversial issues others shy away from. Thank you!

I am a family practitioner in the Chicago area, one of my patients recommended I listen to the podcast Unbiased Science. I listened to their show on concussions, and was extremely impressed. I appreciate the content and have listened for a few years, however the audio is awful and seems to be getting worse. The new "soundtrack" in the background of some descriptions/definitions (concussions episode) is very distracting and just weird.Read full review »

I like the science content but what was up with the weird sound effects in the “Heads Will Roll” episode? It was so distracting. I thought some other program was creating the sounds. I closed every app and eventually paused the podcast to confirm it was coming from the podcast itself. I also get...Read full review »

Just finished listening to my first episode “snake for oil” of this show. I wasn’t too sure what this was about but it’s definitely not unbiased. I agree with basically everything they go over, BUT- when I reached an episode where they were talking about myths etc and they spoke about aspartame…. It’s long been known it doesn’t cause cancer, the problem is how it affects your gut microbiome. There’s a lot of studies, that isn’t...Read full review »

I love the idea of this podcast but the combination of poor audio and the host constantly talking over the guests makes it very difficult to listen to

I hear a lot of people using sound bites like “vaccines are safe and effective” and “trust the science” and “conspiracy theories” so when I ran across this episode about vaccines I hoped she would go into the science of why vaccines are safe. It was all the same tropes, though, with discussion of...Read full review »

Love the idea, hate the execution. Dr Jessica is well meaning but she rambles a lot and doesn’t let her interviewees talk about THEIR expertise. If you bring someone on the show, let them do the talking. Her questions are redundant and not very open ended. She’ll ask questions that are a min...Read full review »

Love the content and insightful discussions, but I beg of you to work on the sound quality of the show. It’s bad enough that I am deducting stars from the rating of the show based on sound quality alone.

I really want to like this podcast because I do like the intent. I’m mid way through my second episode and I find it difficult to listen. I love these two doctors, but I can’t listen to this podcast until they get some help with their audio. It literally feels like I’m being yelled at for the whole time the hosts are talking. One is noticeably worse than the other.
