“Thersa matsuura must have the most soothing voice in the world. On top of that, the podcast is so thoughtfully and lovingly curated, you just can’t wait for the next one to come out. Everything that comes out of her mouth is endlessly fascinating, and many of my friends from Berkeley love writing down the interesting Japanese terms and monster names to use for titles in future music projects. The writing is absolutely superb, and honestly it wouldn’t even have to be to get these 5 stars, because I could listen to her read the Japanese phone book. I wish I could give this podcast 10 stars. I actually stopped buying earl grey lattes all together so that I could give her 15 dollars a month on Patreon so she can make more stuff, and I haven’t regretted it once. Don’t sleep on this sleepy, creepy, wonderful show!”
