Embarrassingly bad
I can’t imagine calling Kim Kardashian an ally when she underpays her workers and mistreats them. She cannot simultaneously be an ally to the working class while abusing them. This podcast is primarily a place to shill for celebrities so they can launder their reputations and humanize them in order to make folks forget how harmful their practices are, including their hoarding of wealth and resources. Van Jones has a net worth of $5 mil so I guess I’m not surprised that a wealthy person would cape for other wealthy people, it’s just annoying to pretend this is about unity when half these people are actively harming the working class. I can’t imagine why anyone thought it would be transformative to further platform people who already have massive wealth and platforms. Their voices have been heard. Talk to the working class about working class issues. Don’t talk to random celebrities who want to play pretend because this is not real for them and never will be.

I LOVE the premise of civil, common ground discussions between both political sides. Seriously, I crave anything that will combat this toxic division of our country. Unfortunately, the execution of this podcast isn’t great. the amount of ads is ridiculous. I’m sure this is a shameless plot to...Read full review »
