“Thank you so much for your message!! I'm a fifteen year old girl with a bit of a rough past. I was in an abusive, drug filled home, but was so blessed to be adopted out of it. My physical freedom wasn't enough and, despite becoming a part of an amazing Christian family, I found myself feeling worthless and incapable of rising above my heritage.
One idea that gave me so much hope was the lexicographical meaning of the word redeem (yes, I am a huge nerd🤓). In the beginning, God, "deemed" humankind good. When man fell, we became sinful by nature. But when Jesus came to die on the cross on behalf of all of us, he "redeemed" us good.
Lord willing, when I grow up, I want to start a Christian school in a small South American town, and this is the message that I want to share. If you could touch on this idea in one of your episodes, I think it would be an amazing message to spread, but I don't have the resources to do it on my own. It would be amazing to hear from someone else who really understands the feeling of being hopeless and the feeling of being pulled out of hopelessness.
