“As I write this, UCAP is only 15 episodes old, but it has really hit its stride. The panel members compliment each other well and step on each others' toes only when it furthers the content. There's a boatload of both experience and mutual respect among the guys - Two things that not every panel can bring together effectively. This is the hangar-flying podcast that I had always hoped that the podsphere would deliver and it informs my flying and my outlook on aviation. This is not idle praise: I say all of this as one who (a) has sampled just about every other aviation podcast and believes that, if you can listen to only one hangar-flying session, this is the one, and (b) produces his own aviation features podcast (which I'll not name here, but that aviation podcast junkies will probably be able to identify). “I guess it’s supposed to be like “shootin’ the bull” around a beer with your buddies. But if you want to get something more out of your listening time, there are other podcasts where the hosts at least put some effort in.”
