Never hear a dull episode. I love objective explanations from / on all views of a subject. All the guests bring such a wealth of perspective on their area of expertise. Please keep up the good work of preparing the remnant.

Really enjoyed the show. I’m Western Australian, I don’t say ‘yous’. I can’t stand it. I think it’s mostly people from the East that say that 😁I loved the quick fire questions. Agreed with them all. Must admit I’m old school and not happy with the way the English language is changing.

I’m new to the Bible. I like hearing about Jesus. Informative, interesting, open, willing to discuss and question. Church can be stifling. In church I’m always looking at the exit sign above the door, but this podcast is good and hopeful. I enjoy listening.

Undeceptions tackles important and often difficult issues with thought, care and thoroughness. It has challenged my views and increased my understanding. More please.

John looks to life, faith, history, culture and ethics, and experts therein, in search of the truth (recognising Jesus to be The Truth). A consummate communicator, he speaks equally to people of all faiths and none and leaves us with something to think about and reflect on. John has shaped my...Read full review »

An enjoyable exploration of questions that are worth asking. Even when I wonder if I would be interested in the topic I am always surprised with profound truths that touch my heart and soul.

How refreshing to have a podcast challenge my thought on life and spirituality. The session on growing older has given me a much needed fresh view on my mum’s dementia, and I am very very grateful for the challenges to look on aging in a new way.

I came upon this podcast after learning about Tim Kellers passing and wanted to soak up more about Keller as I am a great follower of his work. Listening to that podcast it reminded me of listening to a Keller sermon, with John Dicksons quizzical, engaging and gentle ‘prodding’ into the...Read full review »

This is one of my absolute favorite podcasts. (And I listen to a lot of podcasts!) I love that it challenges me intellectually and spiritually at the same time. The production quality is excellent, and it is so helpful when John’s explanation of something an interviewee says is overlayed with...Read full review »

Well thought out and executed dialogue. All sides of the debates are well represented at least to the best of Dickson’s ability. The classicist approach to the deep questions posed by an active Christian community is more relevant than it has ever been and props to John for humbly facilitating...Read full review »

I first heard John Dickson speak at a day Christian/Church seminar almost 20 years ago and was so impressed that I bought a heap of his books. Catching up with his podcast reveals a man that’s only matured and improved with age. Thank you John for staying true to the cause.

I really enjoy these episodes. They seem to provide a good balanced appraisal of so many fascinating topics. I love that they’re not afraid to take on topics I’m scared to bring up in conversations. Thanks John, Mark and friends.

A breadth of fascinating and at times esoteric topics with a depth that leaves you feeling both informed and curious to learn more. Dickson has a warm, open-hearted manner that makes him very easy to listen to. Highly recommend for the believer and sceptic alike.

John is not only very knowledgeable, but he appreciates opposing views with so much respect and honesty. It’s refreshing to hear an opinion, even on hard topics, without contempt for those you disagree with (see the one star review if you want an example of the what I mean)

I am just starting to get into apologetics, and deeper learning of Christianity. I am finding Mr Dickson’s mispronunciation of filet at the beginning of each episode kinda distracting.

So encouraging to hear that Christ’s Good News is spreading and being proclaimed , despite the decline in our Australian households. It can be so hard to remain optimistic! We need these messages to inspire us to continue to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith!!
