Great Show, Needs to Work on Visual References
I’ve really enjoyed the show so far, but I’ll say that the Ball Lightning episode was at times a frustrating listen. Podcasts are, obviously, not a visual medium, but at more than one point the hosts would act as though they were watching a video or looking at an engraving and describe it to the viewer. That sounds fine in theory, but is a really unsatisfying approach in practice; it just makes me want to see what they’re seeing, not hear about it. I checked the show notes and the Vox article about ball lightning but there are no links to what they were describing. I’d appreciate it if they could include specific links to all images and videos in the podcast’s show notes. Thanks for the great show, all!

More reviews of Unexplainable
This has potential. However, as much as I love to drop F bombs, I didn’t see any reason why Ashley Yeager had to dumb herself down by swearing in the episode about dark energy. It’s difficult enough for women to be taken seriously in STEM.

By leaving questions unanswered, the show makes the case for how curiosity powers our exploration of the world and how the quest for knowledge shapes our understanding. This is my favorite new podcast!
