Interesting topic about Gut feeling but sad to hear happy promotion of animal experiments, no matter mice. Just made me feel sad.

This is one of the best shows I’ve listened to since becoming a mail carrier. I love how easy it is to learn and how fun it is every day. I feel like I’m part of the show because the hosts are with me while I walk every day. They can’t hear me, but I talk with them while they’re talking. Even...Read full review »

The semi smug hipster edge of vocal fry presentation of this woman is beyond obnoxious. The latest episode on the Earth warming was full of her injecting some kind of personal attitude and every time she spoke mocked the seriousness of the topic. A very self involved person who needs to find a...Read full review »

I found this podcast while working on assignment for my English literature class and honestly I am so glad I did! This episode was filled with so many facts that had me saying “no way” through the whole thing! I appreciated the mix between creativity and facts including, clips of interviews and...Read full review »

Such an exceptional show, from its concept to its execution. The topics are always intriguing and the production is beautiful. There are a lot of science shows out there but this one makes me feel that i am visiting the frontlines of learning and exploration. Thank you for this show, your team is...Read full review »

Great show, I usually find the topics they pick to be very intriguing and they do well explaining dense topics to a wide audience in an interesting and enjoyable way!

I love listening to the show and the topics they discuss. Unfortunately find myself leaving this show until I’ve listened to everything else available because of how many ads they play.

I absolutely love this podcast. It’s one that I fell into a couple years ago after searching for new content like Radiolab. I loved that podcast, but it has not had fallen into a lot of reruns & not as compelling stories since the original hosts had left. Which was hard bc I loved their...Read full review »

I have been looking for years for a podcast to keep my mind engaged while doing ‘mindless’ tasks: cutting the grass; walking the dog; cleaning the house; etc. I was stymied at every turn. Nothing fit. I would listen to a handful of episodes, and then, ‘meh’. Then I found Unexplainable. I was...Read full review »

Interesting topics but unlistenable due to the huge amount of advertisement. Reminds me of linear television.

Was great. I love that the guys ask relevant questions at pertinent times. My question is though, don’t the organisers of meets keep records of the racers reaction times? Which would be hundreds of thousands of samples. Wouldn’t that be the best data, given the variables of the would all be...Read full review »

The Vox Unexplainable series blends personal stories from experts with solid data (including its scope & limitations), creating a mix of investigative journalism, science, and humanity that is engaging and easy to digest.

Another great podcast from Vox Media, but this is my favorite one. Every episode topic is deeply interesting and super informative. It’s information that’s insightful for policy wonks yet approachable and easy for everyone to understand.

NPR format. Interviews interrupted with comments from the narrator. Good interviews do not need interjections. Well edited.

…talking about racism and messaging about white guilt. End of episode, still zero science about the benefits or disadvantages of “good posture”. Simplistic, ideologically charged and without substance.

You’ve got to wonder if dinosaurs had parroting ability and could mimic each other like mocking birds or others do today. We would love to hear more created dinosaurs sounds like those from this episode. 🦖🐓🦜

…because it is so dang good, and my brain DEMANDS more, but there’s so much content and so much to think about in each episode that I miss out when I binge and blast through a bunch of episodes at once. I’m listening to the inflation episode. They talk as if inflation is as simple as looking at one tiny thing in a very complicated system. And they act like each instance of inflation has the same cause. Oh dear. The Adam guy really makes no sense. Claudia’s version is a simplified version of...Read full review »

Time wasting sound bites diminish the experience. I came here for content and it was more glib and insufficient. Ok, I should have known by the length.

worse than re runs, this show regularly chops up old episodes, adds a few minutes of new narration and a new title and posts it as a new episode. listening to this show gave me a weird deja vu feeling until i figured out what was going on. bad faith but good topics sometimes.

An episode of this podcast was forced upon me by Science Vs and it was so information-less, such a bad interview, I stopped listening part way through (only making it that far in the hopes it would build on the potential intrigue it began with). GaiaLady? Umm, excuse me?!? Listening from France here. I appreciate the show and I always listen to every one of the episodes. Old episodes being replayed under a new name. They call it “revisiting”. I don’t understand the point of this as we can just replay episodes from the library… losing the professionalism, some episodes sound awful.
