“I am a huge fan of anything Aaron Mahnke does it seems. I first fell in love with his amazing podcast “Lore”, and then the tv show of the same name based on the podcast, then the second podcast ”The Cabinet of Curiosities”, and now “Unobscured.” It seems like everything Mahnke touches turns to gold, and I’m forever grateful for it.
Unlike his other podcasts, Unobscured is different because it doesn’t focus on a new topic every episode. Instead, with Unobscured Mahnke is dedicating each season so a singular topic and diving deep to study it from various angles. He also incorporates the knowledge of various historians in each episode to give their insights and knowledge on the subject. It is absolutely fantastic, and has me counting down the days until the next episode is released.
If you’re a fan of his other works, Unobscured is a no brainer, and you should subscribe immediately. If you’ve never had the pleasure, download an episode, give it a listen, and thank me later. Once Aaron Mahnke has your attention, there’s no turning away, and that’s a VERY good thing!”
