Unorthodox is like hanging with your Religious School friends every week.
Nothing takes you back to hanging with your Religious School friends more than Unorthodox. Growing up in securlar America, there was always a special comeradrie you felt when hanging out every week with your Jewish friends at Temple or Synagogue. That ease in which you can chat with your pals who know from where you came, is what you get from Stephanie, Liel and Mark. They are amusing and edearing and they get to the heart of the news of the Jews, bringing three distinct perspectives to the table. I also enjoy their interviews. They always seem to find something interesting to extract from the guest, even when you think the guest might not be so interesting --at first. If you make Unorthodox an auto download, I guarantee you'll look forward to Thursdays so you can listen in.Read full review »

I love my extended Jewish family of liel, mark, and Stephanie. Always irreverent, always funny ! For people who don't take themselves and their podcasts too seriously. If you want Jewish learning, look elsewhere.Read full review »
