Thumbing a ride on Barrenjoey Road, she is picked up… and never seen again. Reporting duo Ruby Jones and Neil Mercer looked at what might have happened to Trudie and they found a case that exposed a dark underbelly on the northern beaches of Sydney. The pair have now uncovered new evidence, which is featured in a book — Barrenjoey Road.
