Can’t wait for the next episode
Oftentimes we think of criminal justice reform through the lens of the present day - which is important - but I so appreciate this deep dive into some of the roots of the evil that shaped our current system. As usual Josie Duffy Rice is an effective and engaging communicator of the facts and nuance within the legal system, will be eagerly consuming every episode in this series!

I knew bits and pieces of this story, and I’m grateful that it’s now going to be told in a substantive, affecting way. For all of us who know that the redemption of the South depends on acknowledging the ugly chapters in our history, this is required listening.
