Oftentimes we think of criminal justice reform through the lens of the present day - which is important - but I so appreciate this deep dive into some of the roots of the evil that shaped our current system. As usual Josie Duffy Rice is an effective and engaging communicator of the facts and nuance within the legal system, will be eagerly consuming every episode in this series!

Beautifully told but horrible and so sad. this is a great series about how we treated black kids in the south. The inhumanity is shocking. The podcast sir it does a great job of walking through the story and showing us the lives of the victims. highly recommended.
