Bleak but powerful
Haven’t had an episode yet that hasn’t made me feel a deep sense of despair for the past (and present) and how it echoes through generations today. Not an easy listen, but exceptionally well made and deeply moving.

The whole time I kept thinking this history isn’t even really history - I was a baby when these children, just a few years older than me, were experiencing the horrors described here. We’re all so much older now, but so little has changed — the facility is still operating, just under a new name.

The story is very interesting, but in a 30 min episode, you are really only listening to maybe 15 minutes of story. They should make the episodes longer to accommodate this.
