“I took an Indigenous History course in my younger days (I took it in 2002-03, as a credit toward my Bachelor of Arts and had a double major in French Language/Literature and History). But a white settler Prof (an Anglican Minister) taught the course, so looking back, it felt somewhat misplaced because the person teaching the course wasn’t speaking about their own experience. It’s so refreshing to hear about Indigenous History and current events from INDIGENOUS perspectives. Miigwech for giving us the opportunity to listen and learn.”
