“I listened to the first few episodes of this podcast and was interested in the topics but didn't know how I felt about the host of the show. The way he presents the material isn't unique or attention grabbing. His narration and the music are not for me. The other thing I noticed was, he does not add any information to the topic he is speaking about that has not already been said in similar shows to this one. The reason I decided to stop listening to this podcast though was the comment he made only a few minutes into the Beaumont Children episode where he says, "40 degrees Celsius. 100 degrees Fahrenheit for us ignorant Americans." The comment in and of itself is insulting to what I assume is the majority of his listeners and on top of that the actual temperature would be 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Before making a comment about Americans being ignorant at least fact check what your saying. If you want these topics presented in an interesting way check out Thinking Sideways or Astonishing Legends. Don't give this guy the time of day.”Read full review »
