Point Counter Point
I find it interesting reading the reviews in which people are blaming the storytellers for the opinions being stated. The exact opposite of the reason they are telling them. They are THAT person’s story. They aren’t YOUR story. That is the point of this podcast if I am not mistaken. They offer points of view that MAY BE SIMILAR or a whole new experience that you were unaware of. We live in a world of shame masked in the ideals of tradition and some outdated morals. Shame takes lives daily in acts of suicide and addiction to name but two forms. Shame rooted in how others see us. How we failed them. How that means we have failed ourselves. These stories are important. Shame is most often allowed to grow in the loneliness that is created because of it. Shared shame is less oppressive. Talking about what we are told to hide...allows the habit or choices to be healed and dealt with. Keep this podcast going. I may not be able to relate to all of the stories...I can, as I am sure ALL listeners, relate to feeling shame. These stories are important. Good job and keep developing!

I love how every podcast touches on experience that don’t often get this type of platform.

Meh
It’s okay. The interviewer seemed way too into the sex worker and half-awake in most of the others. After 4 listens it’s just not for me. Subject material is good tho.
