I listened to an episode about borderline personality disorder and sadly this episode more shames people with this disorder rather then unshames. First, it contains many misinformation, e.g. that trauma is needed to develop this disorder (not true) or that it can never be ‘cured’. Maybe also...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. It brings many different topics and astigmatisms to the spotlight and sheds light on them. We can only grow and accept ourselves if we are willing to talk about it, learn from it, and face these things, and that is just what this podcast does. Definitely a great listen.

I came across this podcast by complete chance and can’t praise it enough. I’ve never listened to a podcast I’ve resonated with so much. I feel heard, my shame acknowledged and addressed as a POC in the West. Thank you.

Every episode, I am taken in by Jor’s soothing speaking voice and wonderful interviewing style. He asks every question that I wish to know, while getting straight to the point. The concept is brilliant, and the guests have been inspirational. I am grateful for this one!

This podcast provides a wonderful platform to hear some incredible human stories. Jor’s passion is palpable in this space for historically marginalized voices to speak uninterrupted. I have been inspired by and learned so much from each guest and am excited for each new episode!

So many people have judgements and biases that they don’t even realize or acknowledge. But, stories expose those biases. And Jordan brings us those stories in a way that both holds by interest and calms me. I will definitely be looking forward to listening to each of his podcasts!

Excellent podcast that brings to light the devastating emotion of shame. As someone who has dealt with his own deeply internalized shame, I admire the courage, real life stories and openness that this podcast presents.

Listened to your episode with the successful Dom and had to turn off because of the weird music that is playing in the background. It’s super distracting. It’s a shame because the content was great but the music was unbearable.

I want to thank the host and wonderful guests for their bravery and compassion for themselves and all of us who are going through similar things.

I was searching for another podcast and there you were. On my never-ending quest to become a better person, grappling with shame is a key part of that journey. Shame seems like it comes from within us, and it can. But it’s origins lie outside us, in the expectations of others and their desire to...Read full review »

I love this pod, it helps bring awareness to so many things that are stigmatized. It honestly has been helping me unshame my own insecurities. I want to like it, but the hosts are annoying and most of the episodes are boring.

This podcast is a great idea, but all the noise and music needs to chill. Music is way too loud and over powers the guest. Especially with the Dom. Kinda annoying.

Thank you for making this episode and all the others but especially this as I have been suffering from the same illness for years and just turn 28 years and went into a spiral. I find it interesting reading the reviews in which people are blaming the storytellers for the opinions being stated. The exact opposite of the reason they are telling them. They are THAT person’s story. They aren’t YOUR story. That is the point of this podcast if I am not mistaken. They...Read full review »

I did enjoy some of the shows, and found them interesting. But only interesting from an academic point of view. Some things should be shamed in an upright culture, and normalizing everything won’t end with the sunshine and rainbows that many individuals think it will. Lovely! But at times I was confused. Like when the sex worker was sharing stories and music started at the same time? Or when the bpd guest was sharing the signs of bpd and it was interrupted?
