I was searching for another podcast and there you were. On my never-ending quest to become a better person, grappling with shame is a key part of that journey. Shame seems like it comes from within us, and it can. But it’s origins lie outside us, in the expectations of others and their desire to shape us for their own purposes. I deeply appreciate your approach to shame here, and am certain you will reach many people with your message of self-acceptance ❤️

So many people have judgements and biases that they don’t even realize or acknowledge. But, stories expose those biases. And Jordan brings us those stories in a way that both holds by interest and calms me. I will definitely be looking forward to listening to each of his podcasts!

He touches on everything I think about without saying out loud. Jordan was so soothing when talking about topics that might hurt, but somehow don’t at the end of the episode. This is a classic example of someone thinking their own relatively mundane experiences reveal some kind of universal truth about humanity.
