Big Mistake
Not a bad True Crime podcast. Good material, at least on OCCK, a crime I’m thoroughly familiar with on a civilian level. However, knowing the details of the case and having lived at the city where it took place and being just as ennerved and horrified 40 years later, I have a large criticism to make. The podcasters chose to hire actors to recreate certain scenes. They sound like 1940s radio show extras hired for verbal OOOMMPH and POWW! How completely inappropriate. Overly dramatic, likely to conjure Clark Kent and Lois Lane. In view of the material at hand, which is very, very tragic, it’s very offensive. This is not a fun drama. Or Nancy Drew mystery. I suggest chucking this episode.

Such a refreshing take on the ever-popular horror genre; A great listen late at night before bed, or even while battling traffic to and from work. Zero cliche factor (often difficult to do!!), and ultimately an amazing collection of quality episodes. Bravo!!

This type of podcast is right up my alley but the volleying dialogue between hosts is annoying and distracting from the story. I couldn't listen for more than 5 minutes.Read full review »
