I love the entire cast! Voice actors and hosts. The personality the hosts bring to each episode makes this podcast so enjoyable. I also really enjoy hearing their take on each case. I am hooked! “If we live ‘til next time” love it every time!

With half a EP I got spooked.I like it but sort of creepy.By the way I’m seven so that might be why I’m scared.

I’m giving this 3 stars because a lot of these stories I’m tryin to listen to from 2019 are from the early 30s-the 80s can we get more stories from the 80s-present day? These early 1900 stories and 1800s stories are just a skip for me.

The female narrator..Wendy..sounds ancient. Everytime she speaks I think she's Betty White for a split second. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing...but a tad distracting.Read full review »

I love this Podcast, I stumbled upon it last year & have been hooked ever sense. I listen to it while driving, I do a lot of driving for work and cleaning. Great storytelling, Im not a great fan of the audio dramatisation but I love true crime too much to let it put me off..... and Carter sounds like Nicholas Cage... 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I have to stick around now 😂

A pretty good podcast, although the dramas ions can be a little cheesy sometimes. I enjoy all of the voice actors and the narrators. My only issue is that I have heard several episodes that have been edited horribly and the audio either cuts forward or repeats.

I mostly enjoy this podcast, but the male narrator is painful to listen to. He sounds so bored.. it really takes away from the story. 3 stars merely because of how he narrates.
Daisy8_8 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/28/21
I really like this podcast and the acting is what sets it apart. And I like the narrators. Keeps the podcast interesting.
CC53112 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/27/21
The stories are usually interesting enough but the dramatizations are awful, as is the male narrator.

The Spotify Original Podcast Unsolved Murders: True Crime Stories is a great listen for anyone. Whether you’re cooking, cleaning, running, and even driving, interesting stories play out with voice actors to give real imagination. After listening to the story of Thelma Todd, a young aspiring...Read full review »

I genuinely love this show. My favourite episode is probably the green bicycle case because they know who did it without a doubt. So good!

I LOVE the topics but end up looking for articles and other podcasts to listen to about the topics because it’s just so unnatural sounding and fake. This isn’t how anyone talks or converses. I just don’t understand. That being said my 83 year old grandmother thinks they are “good ol silly fun...Read full review »

The male voice on this podcast is terrible. He is way too overly dramatic and completely ruins the podcast. I feel bad for the female voice as she has some talent but I have to be next to this guy has to be torture. The stories are good but it’s hard to get past his annoying voice. Plus the other...Read full review »

I generally like the research and delivery of this! real talk though: you need to research the pronunciation of overseas names, I’ve counted more than 50% of the time you mispronounce individuals’ names 😔 Additionally, when you have Americans dramatising international murder victims it can be a...Read full review »

The mail voice on this podcast sounds like a drugged up yuppy aristocrat. Doesn’t fit the story lines. The voice overs dramatizations appear really fake.

I love these videos even though they aren’t as good as strange and unexplained (please check that out). I like that you often have voice actors voice acting the scenes.

I get what this show is doing, it’s done in the style of old American radio shows, pre-television. I love it! It’s a shame some listeners don’t know about that particular part of entertainment history.

Surely there are better voice actors out there. This sounds like a high school production... and we’re not talking Juilliard.
BrenElice via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/01/21
I love this podcast, but the dramatizations of the the actual events aren’t it. People died and making that sound like some event out of a movie is just so over the top and sorta annoying from time to time. I do like the way they don't make it obvious who's the culprit.Read full review »

I’ve listened to them for the past year and half. I like how they have a variety of crimes and decades. Great listen!

They would get 5 stars if the dramatizations weren’t so dang awful & just over the top cheesy
mystical megs via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/29/21
I would have given 5 stars but the repeated "If we live that long", is like fingernails on the chalkboard. Once is funny, twice is mildly cute, but come on. This is a great show and a serious one, and that just takes the level of seriousness down quite a bit.Read full review »

This is my second favorite podcast from the parcast network! I️ love the voices & all the facts. Keeps me waiting not so patiently for the next episode 😍

I really enjoy this podcast but sometimes the voice actors are ridiculous and I just can’t listen anymore! I don’t think they add anything to this podcast, would be much better without them.

I laugh at all the dramatizations that they act out. They give good facts about life in general during the time period that the story is in. Many times it blows my mind how badly the police investigated.
Lidstoy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/19/21
I am really enjoying this podcast. It has very interesting historic crimes with lots of context on the people, places, and times. The dramatizations are a nice change of pace in the true crime podcast world. Others have criticized them. I didn’t set my expectations of the voice actors too high....Read full review »

This is a wonderful podcast! I really like how they dramatized the story! They also really good into the different suspects. I really like listening to it!
Jgdh76 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/14/21
Could do without the voice actors all together though. At times the conversations seem to be more speculative dramatizations.

I listen to this podcast daily and I love all the episodes I’ve listened to so far, because It’s so entertaining and so sometimes a cliff hanger but as long as they make a new episode, I suggest you listen to them. 😌

I will say I do love listening to many parcast’s podcasts but one of the only issues I really have is how American it all is. Like it really takes you away from the dramatizations when you hear someone talk like they’re a Londoner but with an American accent. It’s kinda off putting to an extent....Read full review »

One day I will learn to check if a podcast that catches my eye is from Parcast - also known as the Lifetime of podcasting. These are probably important stories with lots of information but I’ll never know because Parcast likes to present fact as fiction.
