It was good until Kim left. Then it got boring. And the new cohost only agrees with Mark

Great concept, but stop talking so much….in all the babbling you totally lose the main story. And don’t get me started on how much they interrupt each other.

Audio is poor. Too much “I don’t know”, “um”, you mean”, “um”, I’m not sure”, “um”, “it didn’t say”, “um”, “I think so”. Excessive interruption by both hosts. Successful in podcasting, I would suggest: do you research, obtaining the facts, proofreading and practicing your delivery. Also invest in...Read full review »

Usually I do not like the friends talking about crimes type of podcast. This one has me hooked. It may be Laura’s accent, her retelling of facts or it could be the way they tell a story. The research gives you even more information than the first crime story and I appreciate that. I haven’t...Read full review »

But good grief stop interrupting / interjecting. The Snowtown murders podcast would have been great if you’d LET HER FINISH. Then you try to tell her to speed it up and start skimming on details because it’s to much but it wouldn’t be if you’d, again, LET HER FINISH. Smh. Got half way...Read full review »

I always make sure, when listening to a new podcast, to listen to an episode about a case I’m very familiar so I know how accurate their information and research is and I’m glad I did. The information was incomplete and inaccurate, plus there is so much irrelevant side talk. Even if their...Read full review »

I personally think this is great .I love murder mystery’s but y’all need to make a shorter intro and don’t interrupt each other.besides that this is my absolute favorite podcast .😁😁😆😆💕💕💕😍

It took me a while to take to it, but I really enjoy this podcast. Sometimes it’s refreshing to listen to discussions that are candid. Although not rehearsed, the hosts are researched and hit on the important topics in each case. Thanks for your hard work!

Male host constantly interrupts the female host, usually with some unrelated or unimportant opinion or comment. She should lead the show…she’s obviously the one who does the case legwork.
Ostara via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/09/22
I like the conversational approach of this show, rehashing episodes of a show I enjoyed watching growing up. The only hiccup I have trouble getting past is how the host interrupts his friend CONSTANTLY. Like, every 10-15 seconds. It’s just tricky to listen to as the episode goes on, because she’s...Read full review »

No.
I really wanted to like this but the too many pauses, and lack of research did me in.

Where is your empathy when doing these podcasts. In Canadian and the fact that you make fun of us in your podcasts is horrible. Along with the laughing and joking about a murder. Terrible podcast!!!

The co-host was on a call you could barely hear. The episode I half listened to was about New Mexico and I didn’t appreciate the host perpetuating “I can see a truck and guys drinking beer right now” who knows what. I am from NM. Lastly, they spoke about piercings for 10 minutes before getting to...Read full review »

Th host is so unprepared, often pleading ignorance to critical parts of the story that are easily researched (as in “the victim had MS. I don’t know anything about that.” There are many ways he could get a wealth of information on this or any other subject. His pontificating about motives and...Read full review »

I recently discovered UMR and I love the format. The deep dive research is especially appreciated. The two hosts treat the cases and the victims with dignity while providing informed commentary about the cases and the most current updates on each case they cover. I also love that the episode...Read full review »

The episode that I listened to, the hosts spent 10+ minutes talking about a car and complaining about other podcasts. Seems like a bad way to spend the time you have with the audience. It wasn’t very well presented. They complained about lack of research in other podcasts then immediately showed...Read full review »

Read the reviews and saw this show was hosted by some SJWs. That lured me in rather than turned me away because anytime someone accuses a podcast of being woke means it’s really good. The usual be woke go broke is laughable seeing that this person has a podcast and they don’t. The “wokes” are...Read full review »

We understand that most Americans don’t care enough to know that the capital of Canada is Ottawa but seriously, have they done ANY homework on their stories at all? Doesn’t sound like it. I tried to listen to episode two but the guest sounds like she has zero facts about the case. 36 minutes in...Read full review »

I find that each episode is presented in an extremely biased fashion. The back and forth banter about things , otherwise unrelated to the topic at hand , often come across as immature and uneducated. Underrated and outstanding! Worth listening to. Unsolved mysteries is one of the best tv shows ever made and the recap and expansion on the episodes is outstanding. Keep up the great work! Love both hosts!!

Very disappointed. Was looking forward to this but the PC/SJW tendencies of these two clowns ruined it. Get woke, go broke.

So, I’ve watched UM my whole life. LOVE true crime EVERYTHING. I do LOVE this show…however (and I hate to even go there…) but there’s a LOT of medical facts that get incorrectly explained or stated. Heard of this podcast from Walnut Grovecast! I love the chemistry of Mark and Kim. I like that I can follow along without having to watch the episodes of the show. Keep it up! This podcast needs more love!

I love the research and storytelling presented by the female host. The male host is not funny and brings nothing to the episodes. Show would be much better without the male host.

My first listen I think I’d enjoy it as much as I do. The stories are retold well & they offer updates, different perspective/view/opinion(s).
