“The subject of the podcast is all well and good, but the speaker needs to practice her speaking and reading skills before going on air. Filler words like "um" need to be eliminated and she needs to practice reading through the script before recording. Another issue is her tendency to pause and think before continuing. Again, practice read-throughs would remedy this. Also, don't suddenly stop in the middle of the narration to blurt out personal opinions or observations about the case, like "when Justin told me I was like whaaaat no waaaay...." —I mean come on. I feel like this narrator is speaking less like a journalist and more like a girl telling her best friend about details of a story.
