Good start for the podcast, but can definitely improve
Ever since Serial, I've been hooked on these types of podcasts. Very entertaining, and I can listen to these whenever is convenient. So when I first came across Unsolved, I thought to myself, great! Another podcast alongside Serial. But as I began listening to this more and more, I found the major flaw that ultimately drove me away. It is the narrator. Although she sounds very knowledgeable of the case, there are some obvious and annoying pauses in-between her sentences that build up overtime in episodes to be very annoying (If you think I'm joking, take a listen at one episode and you'll know what I'm talking about). This is honestly the biggest pet peeve, and especially for a medium that depends on me listening for 10-30 minutes straight? It comes off as if the narrator just received the script and is reading it live for the first time. Whatever method needs to be done, if it can be read more smoothly, I'll come back to it in a heartbeat. But for now, I'll give it a pass.Read full review »

Ignore all previous comments about the narrator's voice- that didn't bother me. They do use the same recordings over again, which is not ideal. Overall, I would recommend it, but I do agree that editing needs some work.Read full review »
