I really wanted to like this but I just can't stand the narrators way of telling the story. She takes so many pauses when speaking that it gets really distracting. It's also really redundant; the same audio clips are played over and over. Lots of vocal fry also. As a journalist, maybe I'm just very picky about these things. The narrator is clearly reading the material the entire time in with an irritating glottal scrape. Unprofessional and lazy. Enunciate, millenials. It's not going to hurt, I promise. Ruined a perfectly suspenseful true crime pod.Read full review »
