Tried to get into this over and over but it’s just so clunky and hard to follow. The narration lacks pace and structure and is interspersed with this OTT cockney accent punctuating the narrative. I found this very strange and off-putting, seems to trivialise and add some “Horrible Histories”...Read full review »

Really important story but I can’t listen past the first episode. The background music is just ridiculous, ruins the story and trivialises it to the level of a knock off child’s horror story. Please release one without the background music!

I found the case facinating and enjoyed listening, I keep wondering why haven’t we ever heard of this case before the podcast???

The Daniel Morgan is a story that every British person and most definitely ever Londoner needs to know. Sadly this podcast is not the way to do it. Someone obviously saw the success of Serial and thought they could make some money. It starts off good but becomes confusing and rambling. The use of...Read full review »

As the title says, the 1st series is fascinating and shocking in equal measure. Good pace and production. Then we get to the 2nd series which sadly is repetitive, somewhat uninteresting/irrelevant and has quite poor audio production in places which was a real shame. I stuck with it but it doesn’t...Read full review »

I’m only a few episodes in on the recommendation of a good friend and I’m absolutely hooked. I’m really looking forward to listening to more.

I was gripped from the very start of this podcast. The work of the family was unwavering and it’s such a shame that the horrors associated with this material have never been addressed and brought to justice properly. I feel for them. A riveting listen.

Couldn’t get passed ep1. The male host is incredibly irritating. I’m not interested in the nuances of the ‘Saauth’ London accent or what car you drove in the 80s. Yet another example of an important story ruined by wannabe podcasters. Still to the day job.

Probably a good story but it’s ridiculously hard to follow.

This is an interesting story but the way they tell it is a mess.

I’m honestly surprised by how harsh some of the reviews are. I read through several and was almost deterred from listening, but ultimately decided to give it a go. This podcast is well researched, organized, and eloquently delivered. I’ve had to stop listening to other podcasts with obnoxious...Read full review »

Might be a good story if the narrative was not overrun by the soundtrack. I’ll see if I can bear it in episode 2.

This is such an important story that needs to be kept alive, but at times the production leaves a lot to be desired, for instance when it becomes hard to hear what people are saying because the music used plays over them rather than in the background. Also, the series start gripping but fizzles...Read full review »

Series 1 was very addictive, each episode leaving you wanting to hear the next part of the story. Series 2... don’t bother. A very dull introduction to Deeivya in the podcast, who adds nothing, and then just a hard sell of Peter’s book... disappointing.

Well presented story but getting bored of the book extracts in the second series. Feels over dramatised or like a bed time story the way it’s told

I hope from the bottom of my heart that The Morgan Family can one day get justice. Their spirit and ability to endure the constant disappointment of a justice system which is in place to allegedly protect them is truly admirable. The British Justice System is called to account here and it fails...Read full review »

It is almost impossible to listen to the dialogue because of near constant music. Why? It adds nothing. The BBC is particularly bad for this. If I want to listen to music there are plenty of sources.

The first season was great and I really enjoyed it but one of my least favourite things with any podcast is where two hosts take in turns to tell a story. It drives me mad, would of so much preferred just the guy talking like the first series if I’m honest. 5 stars for the first series but the...Read full review »

I understand it’s probably tough having a disability regarding ones speech but that being said maybe podcasting isn’t the best career choice. As a police officer the story is very interesting to me but I can’t get past the childish sound of the narrators voice. Unsubscribed.

I just cannot get into this podcast, the story is fascinating but it's told in just a clunky manner, jumping from different people and it's just not enticing me to listen further on at all. Ugh. Why must he emphasize every other word? It’s difficult to listen to. I’d rather listen to Allistair tell the story in his own words. Also annoying was the guy who read the newspaper stories. I found this unlistenable as the show was ruined by the completely amateurish use of music. Also, the ads were unintegrated and clashed horribly with the flow of the podcast when they blundered noisily onto the scene in full bull in a china shop mode.

This podcast outlines a bed of institutional corruption that poses the gravest threat to U.K. democracy today. Both terrifying and crucial listening.

A must for truth seekers. A rare occasion when a story escaped the elitist forces of hegemony. We all know the government, press and rich own and control what we see and hear. This podcast feels like a setup to sell a book. We’re here for true crime not to hear about “the book” over and over. Totally gripping podcast! Only two negatives 1) The advert music is so jolly its slightly disrespectful for such a somber story 2) If your new to the podcast write down the characters involved, it can get a little confusing. Other then that pretty much perfect ,for me better then Serial

Season 1 was well told & narrated – great heartfelt interviews & stories from the Morgan family. Season 2 is like some sensationalised, American, serial dramatisation, with an extra presenter, extra exposition & extra Ads!

I'm a podcast buff. I was hooked initially by Untold. Interesting case, told well.
