Maybe some more science needed?
Whilst I feel for the people who have had these experiences and can empathise with them, I am on the second episode now and I am worried there is a serious lack of science so far. Perhaps Whilloby is a scientist, though it doesn’t say so, only that she runs a not for profit and is an “expert”. Most of what she has to say seems to be based of the collation of peoples experiences rather than a rigorous scientific study. I might be wrong, but it is not made clear. We only hear from other distant “experts” third hand who “widely agree”. All a bit wishy washy and based on hearsay. But maybe it will improve. Quick side note: I do not meditate and have no skin in this game. Not trying to undermine the sources in this podcast, just commenting on how the podcast has been put together.

More reviews of Untold: The Retreat
