Meh
I really wanted to like this, but it gets so confusing and hard to follow that I’m over it. Also, this is a very woke podcast which feels like it’s just ticking boxes off for the sake of a favorable ESG score, which contributes to it being difficult to follow with all the“them-theys”. While it has potential, it unfortunately falls way short.

More reviews of Unwell, a Midwestern Gothic Mystery
Does anything happen? It's fun to listen to as it's well produced. The problem is the obsession to make the characters quirky and cool makes them unreal and boring. And nothing happens. Please try harder. There's a lot of talent here.Read full review »

Though at times the humor seems a bit over the top clownish for the dark tone, unwell makes up for it with a host of very off-the-beaten-path character types in a creepy ohio town, all of whom seem Unwell. Whats up with that? Cant wait for the celery festival...?
Not-fun via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/22/19
The show is slow to the jump, to many personalities with hidden agendas. Another show about a small town yet riddled with gay characters. Also the end talks about occupied land. I think you don’t understand the difference between occupied and conquered.
