“Won’t lie the story doesn’t advance a whole lot in the first season. I mean, the conflict of the story only barely peaks out. They haven’t even really established the background of the main characters, not sure why I’m supposed to be interested in them yet. Still though, it’s a quick listen, easy to binge, and there far worse podcasts to listen to out there. 3/5 but hopeful for some season 2 story development.

“This podcast upends your expectations consistently. I have no idea where it’s going and that’s one of its pleasures, but sometimes I feel the writers don’t know where it’s going either!! There’s a lack of narrative propulsion but maybe that’s a Midwest thing. 😛 Still, endearing and weird.”
