“Simon has positioned himself as just the only person who can ask the ‘hard questions’. On the basis he is asking them, then he is correct as they are his questions. Whether they are hard or not is a personal opinion of mine.
I generally find his interviews to self absorbed and whilst he is allowing the person being interviewed to answer, you know he is not listening, he is just straining at the leash to churn out his next quote.
As ever, he can ask some interesting things, and they could be explored further as he is like a kid at Christmas wanting to get to the next present.”
