Really like Simon, but why did he have to sound more astute by sitting himself between Graeme ‘back in my day’ Souness & Troy ‘on his day’ Deeney? The Henry Winter cameos are enough to keep the fleeting listeners from fleeing but Henry should be on full time. The original one on one...Read full review »

The interviews are five stars. Three up front is lucky there isn’t a zero star option.

Jordan can’t hear anything against Spurs, Souness is Liverpool & Rangers. This feels a bit biased. And there Last episode was all about how rich they all are and everyone there is a millionaire… so off putting!!

Love all the interviews but please please stop trying to finish peoples sentences, it’s definitely a habit, apart from that it’s great

The new format is good to but keep up the interviews.
no1stepchicken via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/29/24
Go back to the interview format. You can see people talking about football anywhere. There’s a thousand other podcasts dedicated to that. Simon one on one with an interviewee was golden.
Jacko5510 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/04/24
What a way to ruin what was one of the best podcasts about. Some really hard hitting interviews with some of the best who competed in their chosen sport. The new format is such a let down and now we have Souness who is unbearable and so unlikeable.

Really good quality long form interviews. Really impressed with Jermaine Defoe, seems to have the right mentality to do very well in management once he gets his foot in the door!

By far the best football podcast with souness and Jordan. Jordan is excellent as a host and love the no holes barred approach. Thank you for being a brilliant listen every episode.
jameschelsealondon via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/23/24
Why couldn’t you just leave Simon Jordan to interview different people. It was a great podcast before you had to go all woke/diverse.

His domination of the conversation is irritating. Shame as the show could be great but his interrupting debate is infuriating. Half the time he doesn’t believe his debate. It’s just for effect. Jordan, Lescott and Deeney are great.

It was really idle curiosity that made listen to John Terry and Robbie Fowler - my pre ception was great players but flawed individuals. So impressed with how articulate and thoughtful each individual was, they haven’t become overnight heroes but certainly believe more than ever that there are ...Read full review »

Piers Morgan has become infamous for his abrasive and often outright offensive behavior, cementing his reputation as an unapologetically arrogant provocateur. Used to love the show how it was. Why change. This is like listening to talkSPORT and Jordan already does another podcast with Souness. Another lost listener

Really liked the format with Jordan doing the interviews, I don’t see why it’s been changed. I’m not interested in what the other two have to say so I’m unsubscribing.

Enjoyed this podcast when it was Simon interviewing guests and then saw him tweak the formula and add Souness and Deeney to the mix. Was quite looking forward to hearing Souness’ views on a variety of topics, but Troy Deeney? The same person who I read today said that ‘Tottenham fans should want...Read full review »

The new format with three hosts ruined the podcast I fell in love with. All three trying to demand time to talk and Simon talks the least amount. Bummed. Why fix what was never broke? Now it’s broke.

Decent enough, nothing Jordan does is relatively ground breaking, rarely asks the questions he professes to, but by the by decent enough podcasts. Now this 3 up front added to the feed is really annoying as I have to find a new Thursday pod. I listened to the first episode, I like Jordan, I like...Read full review »

3 up front (Simon,Souness,Troy)was not so different Vs many other football discussion podcasts, so give it an average rating. Not sure where Simon’s wants to go with this, ….if it will cover other sports with experts in those fields then maybe it’ll work, but otherwise it could be routine and...Read full review »

Whilst I’d always thought that Paul Ince was a decent player - albeit a little too ‘ confident’ for my taste - I had no idea of the difficulties he’d faced as a child growing up . His career as footballer and a manager has been of the highest order . But what impressed me even more was the value...Read full review »

Fabulous podcast Simon is brilliant - he challenges at all the right moments I’m absolutely loving listening - as a Leeds fan you were spot on holding Jesse to account. Superb 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Great listen, very good guests meanwhile drop the boring introduction… Welcome to up front then taking forever describing ‘what’s your why’ doesn’t make any sense. Also bored of Simon making references to making £100 million. I know Simon is brilliant, I know he’s made and lost millions, what I...Read full review »

Questions are often forced at the wrong time and answers hurried. With the likes of Eubank Snr you need to just let him ramble on not interrupt to speed up the answer or force the question again. Quite annoying how short they are and how much is missed. Otherwise could be a great podcast

As per usual, Simon Jordan delivers a brutally honest interview, giving great insight into a relatively unknown premiere league manager - Jesse Marsch. The interview gives great background into marsch’s life that led him to become a manager and uncovers the inner motivators that drove his pursuit...Read full review »

I could listen to Simon Jordan all day everyday and twice on a Sunday but what’s that got to do with the price of cheese?
dinkeydave via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/09/24
I can’t fault this show , Jordan does speak a lot of common sense . I loved the Souness show and the Seb Coe show was very interesting . I enjoyed Simon trying to coax Big Sam into defending his style of football.
Roboklopp via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/06/24
My only criticism would be he sometimes puts words or answers to his own questions to guests. I want their answers not them to agree with what he assumes is the answer

Simon has positioned himself as just the only person who can ask the ‘hard questions’. On the basis he is asking them, then he is correct as they are his questions. Whether they are hard or not is a personal opinion of mine. I generally find his interviews to self absorbed and whilst he is...Read full review »

Love him or loathe him Simon Jordan has been there and done it. He’s probably the best interviewer on the radio at present and his ability to ask probing questions and actively listen enhances the depth of interviews, making him a standout in the realm of interviewing.

I’ve been on the fence with regards to SJ but I have to say in this series he is on point, challenging but fair and honest, gets the majority of the guest working for their supper and it appears they have mostly enjoyed the encounter,🥲. Broadcast giant, now podcasting giant, author and columnist. Love to see him with modern footballers. Jordan Henderson would not get away with saying he want to Saudi for the football…

Never listens just talks load of verbiage. Surrounds himself with sportsmen who barely finished school at 14 and uses his barrack room vocabulary to make him feel superior. Silly vain pointless man.

Thoroughly enjoying the series. Enjoying picking them off one by one. Serious straight talking with Simon and interviewee supplying a very good insight into the careers of various sports persons. Superb listening. Tony.
