Renowned character actor Kyle McLachlan, & investigative journalist Joshua Davis, make a terrific storytelling duo-inquisitive, relatable, & entertaining. Witty, without that phony, forced quality of mirth that is the doom of so many high concept efforts. Instead, they allow the inherent absurdity of the situation, a remote American town of 300, seduced into a bizarre, highly profitable, & quite dangerous partnership with one of the most notorious drug kingpins in history tell its own story through the voices of those who barely survived their weird, & largely self inflicted ordeal. Highly recommended.”
