“It's dorky, it's fun, it's even a woman sharing some laughs with her father. But what it is more than anything... is an eye opener.
I've been an meat eater all my life. And at the same time, I've always loved animals and been... disturbed? If that's the best way to put it... by the idea of harm coming to them. So I ate meat, and I told myself that it was okay. That these animals were already dead and I couldn't change it, so I shouldn't waste what's there.
I justified the "need" to eat meat by telling myself that it was necessary to keep the figure I want. I've spent years going from a dorky unhealthy Star Wars loving kid, to a dorky fit Star Wars loving adult. And had developed a lean, high-protein diet to keep me eating healthy as well.
So how could I possibly stop eating meat? I'd seen all the expensive dietary supplements and knew I couldn't afford that diet. If I gave up meat, it would mean I would have to give up the figure I'd built.
But I was wrong!
First, this show caught my attention because it was funny.
Then, it kept me interested because I enjoyed learning about the subject.
Now, it's got me doing research and is giving me the tools and knowledge to do it with!
