The best cycling podcast especially the daily shows

Many year ago I started listening and every year it just gets better there knowledge is great and a touch of not taking themselves to seriously and having a laugh Can go a little bit off piste sometimes which is not a bad thing and a touch of politics what more could a man ask for

Anyone who talks about sport without a smattering of politics is a soulless wraith. Anyone who wants to listen to someone talk about sport with no mention of politics is worse than a soulless wraith. This is a great podcast about cycling.

These guys are truly knowledgeable and entertaining. It's like having a conversation with your best friends where you are serious about your passions, but you do it in a funny way. I just love it. Keep up the great work, guys.Read full review »

We have so much choice these days when it comes to cycling podcasts. For me there have only ever been 3 worthy of downloading and two of those no longer exist (The Real Peloton and Velo Club Don Logan) so that leaves the Velocast which is head and shoulders above anything else out there. You...Read full review »

Scott and John have helped to shape my views and understanding of racing and are synonymous with my enjoyment of the pro-cycling year. It would be a far less rich experience without their commentary to make sense of the nuances of race tactics, sport governance and the personalities of the pro...Read full review »

Everyone needs a Scottish take on professional cycling so subscribe if you can. All subscribers get free Scottish slang lessons included in the price. There’s one about Bob James Gribbens or some such character that I’ve most likely completely misheard and mispronounced but it’s one I use...Read full review »

There’s not much more to add. The Velocast is great. A really interesting way to keep up to date with road cycling, especially during the Grand Tours, but is much more than a podcast for the 9 GR weeks each year. Stop hesitating and subscribe

Velocast is always the first pod on your feed after each stage of all major races. The hosts are likeable and prickly (in a good way), they don't pull punches to ensure access. I look forward to their race recaps but also love their additional conent about the history of cycling and various...Read full review »

Loved this Podcast from the very first moment. Not only the style, classe, knowledge and detail but also the lovely sound of the accents which makes it really fun to listen. Keep up the great work and keep the fun in it.

Looks like all of the reviews are for the free shows, but the paid subscription is definitely worth it. Scott and John break down all of the action and cover the grand tours for all of us that don't have access to daily TV highlights.Read full review »
