“This used to be amazing podcast. However recently they added Patreon and they used it to take away from the regular podcast. It’s super disappointing to me.
If you choose not to pay, you loose 1 podcast per month. They post a pod cast every Thursday, the last one of the month is now a patrons only episode. So instead of creating a true Bonus episode they steal an episode from the regular free podcast and instead of 4 a month you get 3.
They have also started saving interviews or special content for those “Bonus” episodes outside of patron based questions or inquiries. They will hype up something in the regular podcast for weeks (a recent example is a yarn festival one of the hosts was going to and waiting till the 2nd episode after she’d come back) then to make it a patrons only episode. Putting the content behind a pay wall.
I used to love this podcast. Now I’m disgusted with the hosts and only listening out of habit hoping maybe something will change.
And had I been considering becoming a patron, I definitely will not be supporting that now.”
