I’m here for the knitting, not the family/personal stories. Not enough time is spent answering knitting questions. Only about 5% of this podcast directly addresses knitting. Also so much fake laughter makes this very hard to listen to. Used to be better. When the discussion is knitting, it is...Read full review »

Every episode since Casey left and Polly joined is so needlessly verbose, a 22 minute episode will regularly have over half the time of the hosts just doing a catch up chat. Then it’s “join us on Patreon for exclusive and longer episodes”….no thanks….ive learned to fast forward through about...Read full review »

Update: I tried listening again after a break and they’re still mostly chatting about random things, very little actual knitting questions or content. Lots of discussion of their Patreon group 🙄. The “ad-free” show starts with 5+ minutes of an ad for the sock yarn that sponsors them. And then...Read full review »

Have a knit night at home with these friends!! Listening to Stacy and Polly makes knitting at home a fun time. And so helpful! I’ve gotten answers to questions I never knew I had!! Really enjoy the show!!

Love this show and the ladies banter. But, it really needs to be a longer podcast if almost half the show isn’t knitting related.
tealady58 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/12/24
This podcast could be good….but they spend so much time promoting patreon as well as their sponsor company every single time that there’s little time for actual content. Very disappointing (and annoying).
Ifivee via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 05/24/24
Very interesting and good learning experience to listen to and get tips and tricks BUT the episodes are relatively short and the ad read at the beginning is kind of long and sometimes half the episode is just they talking about the sponsors. Love the podcast but sometimes wishes that it was longer!

Love this podcast. Always turn to very Pink with queries. Ive knitted 50 years and still learning

This used to be amazing podcast. However recently they added Patreon and they used it to take away from the regular podcast. It’s super disappointing to me. If you choose not to pay, you loose 1 podcast per month. They post a pod cast every Thursday, the last one of the month is now a patrons...Read full review »

This show is amazing. It’s both educational for knitting and entertaining. Love listening to Stacy and her co-host Casey and now Polly. Thank you for all you teach us!

I didn’t know knitting podcasts were a thing until I found this one. After checking out several, VeryPink is now in my library. I’m working through the previous episodes and look forward to the new one each week. So glad they came back after their hiatus!

This is a great knitting podcast. Very Pink Knits tutorial videos are great and this podcast is a nice chatty addition. I appreciate the high quality production as well as the pleasant voices and music. I only wish they were longer.

I think this podcast used to be better, when they didn’t banter so much. Staci is very knowledgeable and articulate when it comes to answering the questions and she does it thoroughly, but their outside chitchat is not enjoyable. Also, if they are not advertising Turtle Purl, what would you call...Read full review »

I really enjoy the podcast for the most part. Both ladies are really knowledgeable about knitting. It’s unique in the format of answering knitting questions, which I love. My only complaint, and the reason for only three stars, is there’s a lot of non-knitting talk some episodes. With a podcast...Read full review »

Hmm
I like this podcast, though some aspects are a little frustrating. As of this review they call it “ad-free,” but always mention their sponsor yarn dyer, which is a little odd, no? They keep the episodes short because they like short podcasts, but much of the content is unrelated chatter—which, if...Read full review »

Although the knitting info is helpful, after listening to many episodes, I can no longer listen because of the laugh Staci does many times in each episode. I find it very annoying and can no longer lusten.

When they stay on topic , you can really learn a lot about this wonderful craft. Unfortunately, a good bit of time is spend on personal jibber jabber, reading gushing emails and hitting the listeners up to support their “ad free” podcast. Then there’s an ad for a particular yarn company. Then...Read full review »

I recently stumbled into this podcast when Stacy mentioned in Instagram that they are resuming this. I thought I would try this podcast due to so many great reviews. Over half the time was spent on worthless irrevalent crap. I couldn't cae less what concert they went to last weekend! Great, fun, short episodes. Staci is so knowledgeable and still very good at explaining things for all levels. Their friendship is charming and I do enjoy their off-topic chats and detours. I’m listening to a podcast as I write this review. It took 14 minutes to get to questions. This Q&A portion is informative and useful but the Podcast spends more time on general chat. Never even would have guessed a podcast would teach me anything other than about new patterns or a way to use Ravelry better. I’ve started at the very beginning and can’t stop ! I’m up to 5 or 6 episodes a day! My new fix!

I love this podcast! It has ruined me for most other knit podcasts as I love the interaction between Staci and Casey and the answering of questions. I've learned so much just listening.
