Charming and delightful
What a delightful podcast, one of the best I've listened to in a long time. The imaginary world of Even Greater London is worldbuilding at it best and I felt completely sucked into the steampunk style environment with the narrator helpfully explaining the history whilst also navigating us around the present. The voice-acting is superb and I can't praise it highly enough. The occasional over-the-top-ness of the odd actor just adds to the humour which runs through the story. Be warned that there are a lot of characters who often just make brief appearances and, in such a short series, it does make it somewhat tricky to keep track of them all. However, I enjoyed every second of it, very professionally done. I must include a thumbs-up to the theme music which sounds rather Sherlock-inspired and it’s utterly perfect for setting the mood. Well done to everyone involved, I look forward to series 2.Read full review »

This is a twisted version of Victorian England. It's a mystery based in Even Greater London. The best bits are the small throw away comments such as how Queen Victoria broke a horse in half and how she absorbed Alberts consciousness.Read full review »
