Important story…but could have been told in 1/2 the time
There’s a very important story here about the severely flawed parole board system in here. This podcast is very eye opening on the topic but it is WAY TOO LONG. Do yourselves a favor and read the article about this instead. I listen to most stories from start to finish happily but this one has 2-3 episodes on the middle that were completely unnecessary. Every story doesn’t need 6-10 episodes and this one definitely didn’t. Please send this back to the editors because there’s a gem in here somewhere. Thanks for the effort but wake me up at the end

This show is among the best podcasts I’ve heard. True crime stories are often black and white, but this deals with all the grays. Beth is a compassionate and thorough storyteller, and Jake is a thoughtful and brave subject. I encourage everyone to listen with an open heart and a critical mind.
