In October 1989, 10-year-old Amy Mihaljevic began receiving phone calls from a man who claimed to work with her mom. This man told Amy that her mom had received a promotion at work, and he needed Amy's help picking out a gift. They arranged to meet up and Amy was never seen alive again. Despite an extensive investigation with tens of thousands of hours spent on leads and potential suspects, her case remains unsolved to this day. However, in the fall of 2024, investigators say they have brand new evidence that they hope will finally lead to answers.   Anyone with information about Amy Mihaljevic’s death is asked to call investigators at 1-877-FBI-OHIO or the Bay Village Police Department at 440-871-1234.
